Group Therapy
Group therapy brings together peers facing similar struggles, guided by a trained therapist. It offers a safe, supportive place to share, learn, and practise new skills.
Each group is carefully matched by age and developmental stage and is led by a trained therapist in a safe, structured environment.
Who It’s For
Groups for kids and teens, ages 5 to 18, focused on:
- Social anxiety and friendships
- Emotional regulation
- Self-esteem and confidence
- School stress or transitions
- Grief and family changes
- Peer challenges and communication skills
Why Group Therapy?
You’re Not Alone
How It Helps
Group settings reduce feelings of isolation and give participants the chance to build social confidence. Common focuses include anxiety management, social skills, and emotional regulation.
What Sessions Look Like
A small group of children or teens meets regularly for discussions, activities, and role-plays. The therapist structures activities so participants can practise skills, give and receive support, and learn from each other.
What to Expect
Group members often gain a sense of belonging, more confidence, and better coping strategies. Parents may receive updates on the skills learned so they can reinforce them at home.
