Why Start Therapy?

At Mind & Motion Health, therapy provides a safe space to work through life’s challenges. Whether emotional, social, or developmental, these struggles can impact how you feel and how you connect with others. Through evidence-based strategies and creative approaches, we help you build skills for resilience, balance, and growth.

The American Psychology Association reports that treatments of moderate duration between 12-15 weekly sessions have been shown to result in clinically significant improvements in a person's mental health (APA, 2023).

Absolutely! We welcome clients from any city, both in-person and virtually.

  • We offer both! Sessions are available in-person at our King City office or virtually through a secure video platform.

This is common! We use creative, play-based, and client-centered strategies to build trust and make therapy feel safe and inviting. Many kids grow to enjoy sessions once they feel comfortable.

Standard Psychotherapy sessions are 50 minutes. Shorter 30-minute sessions are available in specific situations. Group therapy and Family sessions are typically 90 minutes

The number of sessions depends on your goals, the nature of your concerns, and how you or your child respond to therapy.
