Group Therapy

Why Group Therapy?

Group therapy offers a unique opportunity for children and teens to build emotional skills, confidence, and connection—while realizing they’re not alone in what they’re facing.
Each group is carefully designed to match participants by age and developmental stage, and is led by a trained therapist in a safe, structured environment.

Group Therapy

How it helps:

Group settings help reduce feelings of isolation while giving participants the chance to build social confidence. Common group focuses include anxiety management, social skills, and emotional regulation.

What sessions look like:

A small group of children or teens meet weekly, participating in discussions, activities, and role-plays. The therapist structures activities that allow participants to practice skills, give and receive support, and learn from each other’s experiences.

What to expect at Mind & Motion Health:

Group members often gain a sense of belonging, increased confidence, and improved coping strategies. Parents may receive updates on skills learned so they can reinforce them at home.

Group Therapy brings together peers facing similar struggles, guided by a trained therapist. It provides a safe, supportive environment for sharing, learning, and practicing new skills.
